I am working to reorganize my services (Facilities and Protection) and am looking for other colleges’ org chart and see how you are organized personel wise. For example, right now, my Project Manager does both O&M and Major projects. That only works if there are only one or two large projects per year but not when there are 10+. Can you provide approximate areas and FTE for quick comparison ? My boss likes numbers.
At Algonquin there are currently only 2 Project Management Officers under Facilities Development who deliver smaller-scaled projects (<$1M), otherwise major capital projects (>$1M) are out-sourced to our VOR.
